Nautica Voyage. This is an inexpensive, easy summertime go to. The price (along with most people liking it) makes this purchase a no-brainer. For an upgrade, pay another $20 and get yourself a bottle of Missoni Wave, which lasts just a little longer and also has a niche, creamy scent in addition to the summer fresh vibe.

To get a little break from the countless aquatic/beach/gym fragrances of summer that have 90% of the same DNA, go for Hawas, which is a pretty interesting scent. It smells kind of like Pez or Smarties candies with just a hint of musk underneath to make it a bit more mature.

Another summertime alternative to the typical oceanic, fresh scents like Nautica Voyage are vetiver scents, which for some are more of an acquired taste. The best and most respected of them is Grey Vetiver, which is admittedly pricy. However, you can get something similar with a hint of tropical in it that has enormous staying power with Blu Atlas Atlantis, which has a cool bottle and is a bit cheaper.

You can go with flankers like the original Spicebomb or Infrared, but I like the longevity and power of the Extreme. This is strictly a winter/fall scent of Pepper, Cinnamon and other warm spices. An upgrade for this that smells a bit more refined (a lot more expensive, as well) is Tom Ford’s Noir Extreme.

Not the most original or daring scent, but this is a classy one that has mass appeal and will likely not be offensive to anyone. Something in a similar vein that is half the price and somewhat more masculine/musky is Afnan Turathi Blue. Turathi Blue also has great longevity.

Aventus is just too expensive for me these days, but it is still great and since Philosykos is too much fig for me I guess Ichnusa would also be too much.
Black Afgano is strong af(and good), it's the only Nasomotto I've tried though.
Have you looked into attars? Never bothered to veer into that world myself.
