Celebrating birthdays is silly imo. Just because I turned 67 at or about today (leap year baby) is no cause for celebration. I am Voat's oldest goat - hail to the King Goat!

I am lucky reaching this age. As someone who lost their husband at a relatively young age once said to me: "It's sad when old people die but sadder when young people do".
The only bugbear to getting old imo (apart from the creakiness (or is that creepiness in my case)) is that the dominant thought always in your mind is ...death!
