If there was an exchange of gunfire, you know they'd make a big deal out of it to support their "hurr durr high powered rifle and body armor" meme, to show how outgunned the cops were.
But they didn't. They went with a simple "engaged." For all we know, this could mean they literally said hi to each other, made eye contact, showed their genitals, whatever.
And then of course the fact that what followed afterward is strangely reminiscent of the cops that waited outside the school during Sandy Hook. What were the cops here doing while the tranny beaner shot up the place? Playing tiddlywinks? They didn't give chase?
Very odd indeed.
