Jeremy Clarkson was guilty of sexism when he wrote a newspaper column about the Duchess of Sussex, the press watchdog has ruled in the first decision of its kind.
The Independent Press Standards Organisation (Ipso) received a record 25,100 complaints from the public after Clarkson wrote in the The Sun that he would like to see the Duchess paraded naked through the streets while crowds threw excrement at her.
After “liberating” the three lambs from their mothers, they took the animals – hastily named Sooty, Sunny and Sammy – to a “place of safety”, where they said they would live out the rest of their lives in peace.
To garner maximum publicity for their stunt, the three environmental activists then travelled 145 miles by car from Sandringham to Windsor Castle, where they tried to hand themselves into police.
Buckingham Palace has been locked down after a man reportedly threw shotgun cartridges at the palace. International and British media set up outside the palace grounds were evacuated from the area amid the security scare on Tuesday night, local time.
