I have started work on rebuilding this website. It will be a complete rework of the code styling and database. As it is now it's just a pain to work on. I refactored a good chunk of the current code, made it pretty and organized only to realize in ran slower then it did before. Basically it's more effort to fix this mess than it is to start from scratch. So that's what I have started work on. It will look similar to how it does now except a bit more aesthetically pleasing, closer to voat.co. I originally threw this place together in a hast. I want to spend time to get this version right.
New things I want to add
Rich text editor Private subs Better search Optional infinite scroll Enhancements like (3 new comments) if you've visted a thread. Individual chat room for all subs Sub user flair. Mods can set a public visibility flair consisting of text, which is displayed alongside that user's name when they post to the sub
New things I am considering adding
Guest posting. Allow your sub or threads to accept comments from unregistered users. This may convince some people to join and boost engagement. It would come with limiations or prevent abuse, obviously.
Turn off votes. This will turn off votes site wide, purely aesthetic. You wont see score numbers. You'll have a score but it won't matter and it will be hidden till you re-enable. It would give the place a message board feel. Would people use this? or would they still complain about downvotes?
And more
No idea when it will be ready but progress is going well. I have more experience this time around, not to mention all the new AI tools. But still, it will take a while. I just want to give you guys an opportunity to sell me your ideas while in the early stages. Any cool, useful or crazy ideas? Let's hear them 🐐 ⬆️⬆️⬆️
The Texas judge who reduced the bond of a teen who killed another boy at a track meet has been forced to go private on social media after being widely criticized for her ruling.
Collin County district judge Angela Tucker set her X account to private after she reduced Karmelo Anthony's bond from $1million to $250,000 on Monday.
Tucker, who was elected as a Republican, has been receiving racist attacks after reducing Anthony's bond, with several social media accounts sharing her image and information as they slam the bond reduction.
Never fails for jews to have their nigger pets play the victim. "Lawwwwd I be gettin' dem rayciss tweeets naw up in heyah!"
It's been a while since I've made a post here, though I'm not lacking for comment responses and good discussions.
Lately, though, I've been irritated by the number of NPCs who are quoting Einstein's definition of insanity to me. You know the one: "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result."
Einstein was a patent thief, and a jew with a persistent mockery of scientific method.
The definition of insanity is far more simple than that one. And it's not even required to use one single definition; that's the trap. There is a good definition that stands above many others, and from which many others can be created that branch out from it.
Here's the REAL definition of insanity: "it's an inability to accept the Truth when it is presented to you, directly."
Using that definition, how many of the people you know, both right and left leaning, would fail the test of that definition?
For the sake of circumstances, I can present to you some further examples of the definition.
1. An inability to learn from a negative result, no matter how small (this one parallels Einstein's definition, but is much more focused).
2. The lack of mental progress in determining what resources one can use or learn to better himself or his environment at no cost to anyone or no competition with anyone, thus giving rise to all.
3. Staying solely in ONE place.
4. Desiring what is not impossible, but failing to earn or create it.
5. Conformity with those who are provably wrong.
6. Acting like a problem exists when a solution has been provided and implemented successfully.
7. Being unable to grow out of behaving like a child as an adult, or behaving like an adult when you are a child.
8. Ignorance of God's existence or forming a personal connection to the higher Divine being that requires worship.
Which of the above definitions suits your perspective and experience the best?
By no means am I suggesting that you accept anything that I am talking about here on face value. Test for yourself and determine the outcome. I only want to promote the discussion that leads to better circumstances for all of us.
Edit 4.11.2025. Such thoughtful responses! I'm so glad to be having this discussion. I've thought further about the subject, and I have some more definitions to add above.
You might ask why I added a religious aspect to the last one. It's actually quite simple; there's a reason why the Bible is not being taught in schools, and it's because it forces children to consider moral implications of logic. While being "progressive" is the phrase used by the degenerates who refuse worship, creating a personal connection to God is something that removes insanity completely, especially when acting in God's benefit only solidifies one's true calling.
