Upgoat - "what's upgoat?"

Writer jew who id gone on a rideshare with interviewed me about universal basic income. i was a caretaker and couldn't get any state support, so he considered it a topic i would agree with. I didnt. I suggested that people need loving families and communities and should get by on who they are and how much they are loved, or they should perish. It was 2018 and i was a crazy alcoholic.

Anyway he asked where i get my news because i kept saying shit i shouldn't know. I said voat for a lark. It was the truth but saying it was crazy.

Within a day someone popped up in a voat thread and their first ever comment was a non sequiter to me and they mentioned that writer by name.

At that moment I knew that someone from his communist radio show had probably screenshot everything. I was afraid about this for years. I was paranoid on here until this site became unsearchable. I got an apartment and immediately felt way safer. I thought someone was going to kill me outside the house.

That guy made me have to delete all my subsequent accounts during random feverish paranoias. The voat archive lost a lot of good shit i wrote during my early nazi years.

Started making blister steel out of iron and charcoal. It took forever. Gonna have to try with coke i made in the coke ovens to see if it goes faster. The tier 1 bricks are holding up better than i thought too.

Making refractory bricks for my cementation oven. I make them inside because rain will put them out, and they will also set the grass outside on fire.

I have set up a pulvizer to process bauxite and quartz for refectory blocks. refractory blocks are for steel processing. I have coke ovens, and am making coke for steel.

Now i have a source of bauxite, and a source of olivine, but i do not have the titanium to make the tier 3 blocks, so my steel ovens will need to be remade each time.

This is how iron is made. "tossing iron ore in a furnace" is not good enough. You need to autisticly: mine iron in proper geological locations, break nuggets with a hammer, smelt nuggets into a bloom in a bloomery oven, heat iron bloom, then knock the slag off. I use a helve hammer to knock the slag off because i do not have enough time, but only when there is wind.

There are fewer wolves and bears in the warm temperate climate, and no tigers. The other advantage is that you get a better growing season, as most crops do not die in the heat.

Pine trees are more abundant too, so resin will be easier to come by.
