Notice how the pod launches ahead of the ISS meaning it is now supposedly traveling faster than the ISS

Notice how it cuts to a parachute descent.

How did the pod slow from over 17,700 mph (28,000 km/h)?

Answer: It was dropped out of a cargo plane.
