Talking mechanics with dangus - positioning a tap - I f..ked up.
(MechanicalManiacs)I'm sorry dangus, I've let you down again. I'm no tech-head, dude. I'm not a natural with mechanical stuff and could never have been a tradie much to the chagrin of the two wives in my life whose daddies were tradies.

How people manage to get the tap in the right position with these containers without wrecking the thread by forcing things is beyond me. I've come up with a solution:

I guess another possibility is to put the tap in the right position and glue it with a waterproof glue?
As usual any hints would be appreciated.
