Sign into an existing account

I think it would be good to make it so account deleters can choose to wipe their name while leaving their content.
I prefer that over a digital nuke.
If that sounds good I would love to see the option.

The site content would stay the same but the name of comments and posts would be replaced with something like Anon or Deleted.

Apparently, I have blocked users that I am not even aware of, so it would be nice feature to be able to check to see what you may have inadvertently blocked.

I just happened to notice on a submission I made, and had to go as unauthenticated to see why I could not see certain comments, and apparently I had blocked someone erroneously ?

I didn't see any other method to accomplish this, unless I am missing this features location.

Make every letter of Dial's multiple usernames a different colour in global chat. Like a gay rainbow to represent the many alt's of dial.

Dial = Gay

Add a note for ban reasons or allow choices for ban reasons.

Also, allow ban by username

Bans can be fun, but they need reasons that can be used to make them funny.

Example:
Ban user: system
Reason: No gays or jews
Comment: You brought this on yourself by allowing poalsmokers in!

I only see the tool tip when it is not really useful imho, basically when creating a link or discussion.

I believe that it would be useful when you are commenting, that the tool tip link would be available at the bottom of the comment tab, when you want to make a bulleted or numerical list, quote txt, or whatever the fuck else you want to do.
I am not saying that it is not useful where it shows up, but why is this not available when you are commenting?

Oh, btw, there is no instructions for creating a poll, which may be a good thing...

Example, I sign in. I read around, then go to other websites. After reading other websites, I go to my bookmarks/favorites, click voat, and I am signed out. WHY AM I SIGNED OUT? When I sign in, in the morning, I click the box that says "remember me", so as to keep signed in, when I return.

I used to notice, IF I had multiple tabs open, and lets say I signed in on the 3rd open tab, when I would go back to voat later I would have to sign in again. I GOT AROUND THAT PROBLEM, by always signing in, with the left most tab. Now that trick doesn't work anymore.

WHY CAN'T MY COMPUTER STAY SIGNED IN???

I don't even know what subs are missing, as I don't even know what subs exist.

Can we get a sub for banned accounts for talk.lol?
A sub that also lists users that deleted their accounts?

Can subs have a button that shows the banned number of users and the individual user accounts listed?

Can each account also show which subs you have blocked if any and which subs you have been banned from in your account?

It will save posting in them and having the comment up in the ether.
Especially as subs are popping up randomly every day with next to zero user contribution and still remain active.

It will be a 'secret' moderator. One who will move posts to where they belong. One who will monitor the actions of all users and discipline them by throttling/limiting their account, arbitrarily removing/adding points to accounts & posts, and change account passwords. All of this will be conducted in secret with no records or transparency.

Many of you are familiar with my past work at Poal, I nominate myself for this new class of 'secret' moderator.

What do you all think, and can I get anyone here to second my self-nomination?

I just nuked chat on main page by pushing X to see what would happen.

Not the expected behavior of having to go into account settings reenable chat. A hide button would be appreciated. Basically minimizes the chat window to one line with the chat [min button] [close button] and no longer opens a socket every time page is refreshed. When min button is pushed again setting is updated and page is refreshed (restoring chat as is normal).
