Not That Any Of You Ever Would, But Do Not Buy Parfums De Marly Pegasus
(Fragrances)Parfums De Marly is a great brand, but they have some shitters, too. Pegasus smells good, but for $380 they can go fuck themselves. I got a spray in the mall yesterday and I thought: “Well, it’s not bad, but is NOT worth more than like $70…it smells oddly familiar, too…”
When I got home, I realized it smelled 90% like my Lapidus Altamir—a men’s cologne from the early 1980’s—which can be had for like $24 a bottle. There are a couple of subtleties of Pegasus missing from Altamir—particulary the metallic and ozonic kind of effect, but the base is 100% Altamir, so kiss my ass because only the most discerning noses would be able to tell the difference IMO.
