My first job was chopping down trees with an axe.
I cleared acres for $5/hour.

The guy usually got 5-10 mexicans to do it from Diamond Shamrock (we didn't have a home depot). He said I did more for $50 then they did for $5,000. I chopped down trees taller than houses and went shit shit shit as they teetered near powerlines. Unsupervised, no one else was even there. I was 13.My first $50, I bought an ounce of weed to smoke in the woods. Everything seemed so simple then.
