They made an announcement about three months back they they were "throwing the switch" and letting most drones operate in full A.I. mode. This allows them to not have to rely on communications back to a remote operator (which was a HUGE problem for the ruskies in syria) so no one can triangulate back to a russian position.
Now of course they can jump in at any time and command and direct any of them, but for the most part they just launch their loitering drones and then go about their merry way and let the drones go about their business with nary a human thought after.
They are also MASSIVELY rolling out the land based combat drones the last two months. Uran 9's and 10's and Markers are showing up all over up in the north and spotted in the zaphoria region.
Also some of the combat dogs and some sort of slick little sled type thing that is only a foot off the ground and about3x6 feet square with some small treads on each side. It shuttles cargo to the front lines and then retrieves a wounded solider. Both the ukies and the ruskies have set up and used a few static A.I. driven remote machines gun emplacements.
These can all run autonomously now or remotely link up to the t-90's or terminator's (both of which are also designed to run full autonomous if needed)combat computers and act as a fully automated combat unit that can run all over, hunt, ambush, select targets..the whole nine years.
