Chinese Conglomerate Tencent Has Bought 1C Entertainment From Its Russian Parent Company 1C Group     (i.postimg.cc)

submitted by correctus to oneangrygamer 2.2 years ago

Tencent has acquired 1C Entertainment from their now-former Russian parent company 1C Group, both companies announced this week.

While news of the new acquisition comes this week, the deal was actually made in November of 2021 where Tencent agreed to acquire all shares of 1C Entertainment from the now-former owner 1C Group, giving them majority stake in the company and its subsidiaries.

As a result of the new acquisition, 1C Entertainment and all subsidiaries that share the “1C” branding will be renamed within 6 months of the deal being finalized – however details on the new branding will come later.

Subsidiaries in the acquisition include game developer / porting studio QLOC, central and eastern Europe distributor Cenega, and another digital distributor Muve that also specializes in physical distribution (board games, merchandise).

News that Tencent has acquired 1C Entertainment comes not long after the Chinese giant also acquired Inflexion Games, as well as Back 4 Blood studio Turtle Rock Studios and Devil’s Third parent company Wake Up Interactive later in 2021.

Sony Interactive Entertainment Buys The "Halo" and "Destiny" Developer, Bungie Inc. for 3,6 Billion Dollars     (files.catbox.moe)

submitted by correctus to oneangrygamer 2.3 years ago

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has announced its plans to purchase the house of Destiny, Bungie, for $3.6 billion USD. The deal comes nearly two weeks after the bombshell announcement that Microsoft would acquire Activision-Blizzard. According to a press release, Bungie will “continue to operate independently, maintaining the ability to self-publish and reach players wherever they choose to play.”

The announcement will no doubt cause feelings of whiplash for older players. After all, Bungie helped define the Xbox, putting it on the map with the groundbreaking Halo: Combat Evolved. Bungie later broke away from Microsoft, and went under the wing of Activision — soon to be owned by Microsoft. The company has been independent for a while, maintaining its live service shooter, Destiny 2. Halo did swap over to 343 Industries during the shuffle. But it still sounds bizarre knowing that Bungie will be owned by the oldest competitor of Xbox.

Microsoft Buys The 'Call of Duty' & 'World of Warcraft' Developer, Activision-Blizzard for 68,7 Billion Dollars     (de.catbox.moe)

submitted by correctus to oneangrygamer 2.3 years ago

Microsoft has revealed it will purchase Activision-Blizzard, the gaming giant behind several highly popular franchises, in a record-breaking $68.7 billion all-cash deal. The deal shatters the previous industry record set just last week when Take-Two offered Zynga $12.7 billion for their acquisition.

According to a blog post by Xbox head Phil Spencer, until the transaction is finalized Microsoft, Xbox and Activision-Blizzard, along with all of their studios and subsidiaries, will continue to operate independently, with Bobby Kotick retaining his position as CEO of Activision-Blizzard. However, once the acquisition is complete, all will answer to Spencer as the overall CEO.

He went on to state that upon deal closure, Microsoft will offer Activision-Blizzard games, both old and new, within the Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass, as subscriber numbers have reached over 25 million people. The merger is bound to increase that number even further, as Activision-Blizzard is responsible for several hugely successful franchises such as Call of Duty, Warcraft, Diablo, Starcraft, Overwatch, Crash Bandicoot, Guitar Hero, Spyro, Candy Crush and more.

This is yet another massive buyout for Microsoft, who has acquired Bethesda Softworks (ZeniMax Media) last year.

Ninja Theory Showcases The First Gameplay Footage For Their Feminist Schizophrenia Game 'Hellblade 2: Senua's Saga'     (files.catbox.moe)

submitted by correctus to oneangrygamer 2.4 years ago

First 'gameplay' was shown for Hellblade 2: Senua's Saga at (((The Game Awards))). This game is a sequel to the Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice from 2017. Six minutes of gameplay footage was shown, with protagonist Senua leading an army, against a titan invasion on a war-torn beach.

It appears to have the first game's elements of psychosis with voices in Senua's head. The footage was allegedly real-time, in-game but was more cinematic rather than showing much gameplay. There's still no release date for the game, but it's due out on Xbox Series X/S and PC, and will be available on Game Pass, as Ninja Theory is wholly owned by Microsoft.

Alan Wake 2 Has Been Officially Confirmed By Remedy Entertainment. Due For Release In 2023.     (de.catbox.moe)

Details are not available at the moment, but Remedy's Sam Lake took to the stage during this year's (((The Game Awards))) to reveal a first, appropriately moody, and extremely wet teaser trailer, before describing the sequel as the studio's "first-ever true survival horror game".

Despite its horror elements, the first game was very much an action/shooter title, but Lake says Alan Wake 2 will have horror at its heart, delivering a "deep psychological layer" this time around. Alan Wake 2 is still a long way off, and is not expected to arrive until 2023. However, Remedy says it'll share more details in the summer of next year.

After almost a decade of rumors, Alan Wake 2 is finally official - and will be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via the Epic Games Store exclusivity, sometime in 2023.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Is Coming To PC As An Epic Games Store Exclusive. Square-Enix Raises The Default Price Of All New PC Games To 80 Euros.     (de.catbox.moe)

submitted by correctus to oneangrygamer 2.4 years ago

Final Fantasy 7 Remake was first released as a timed exclusive on PlayStation 4 in April 2020, which made a PC release seem likely a year later. But April 2021 came and went, and then Square Enix published another timed PlayStation exclusive release, in the June of this year, FF7 Remake Intergrade, with some graphical updates and a new chapter starring Yuffie.

Six months later, that exclusivity deal must finally be up, because FF7 Remake is hitting PC. Of course, as with Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts PC releases, there's another exclusive at play here. You'll only find FF7 Remake on the Epic Games Store, at least for now.

Square-Enix announced the Final Fantasy 7 Remake PC port at (((The Game Awards))) on Thursday. The game is due on December the 16th, on the Epic Games Store.

In other Square-Enix news: The publisher has decided to increase the base price of its new games to around 80 euros (70 dollars), from the previous default of 60 euros. As we can see, from their respective store pages both 'Final Fantasy 7 Remake' and the upcoming 'Forspoken' will be priced at 79.99 euros. And yes, in case you’re wondering, that’s the standard version. The Digital Deluxe Edition of Forspoken, will be priced at 105 euros. Happy Holidays my fellow goys.

2K Games And Its Parent Company Take-Two Interactive Have Just Cancelled A 53 Million Dollar Game Developed By The Diversity Activist Studio Hangar 13     (files.catbox.moe)

submitted by correctus to oneangrygamer 2.5 years ago

Back in 2018, and a couple of years after the release of abysmally broken and nigger focused Mafia 3, game developer Hangar 13 expressed a desire to become a political activist studio focused on (((diversity))). The company entered partnership with various feminist organisations such as "Women In Games" and Facebook's very own #SheTalksGames panel. This was confirmed by a leaked e-mail from Andy Wilson, the vice president of development at Hangar 13.

Fast-Forward several years, and we are now at a point in time when Take-Two Interactive, a parent company of both 2K Games and Rockstar Games, has decided to cancel a $53 Million game project by 2K's Hangar 13 studio after 4 years of development. The game in question was never formally announced, and was only known by it's internal code name as "Project Volt". According to initial reports, as many as 200 jobs could be affected by the cancellation.

As the old adage goes: "Get Woke - Go Broke"

Microsoft Officially Releases The "Windows 11" Operating System     (files.catbox.moe)

submitted by correctus to oneangrygamer 2.6 years ago

As previously announced, Microsoft today officially launched their latest PC operating system, dubbed "Windows 11." Updates for Windows 10 PCs that fulfill the system requirements will be supplied for free, while Windows 11 PCs will be available for purchase starting immediately.

If and when it becomes feasible to upgrade to "Windows 11," Windows Update service will notify users who are running Windows 10. In the event that you decide to upgrade, you will be offered several download and installation alternatives. By the middle of 2022, updates will become accessible for all Windows 10 devices.

Due to new security mandates, Windows 11 has stricter hardware requirements than Windows 10, with Microsoft only supporting the operating system with updates on devices using an eighth-generation Intel Core CPU or newer (with some exceptions), AMD Ryzen CPU based on Zen+ microarchitecture or newer, or Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 ARM system-on-chip or newer. UEFI secure boot and Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 support is also required. Windows 11 no longer supports 32-bit x86 architecture or systems using BIOS firmware. Windows 11 installation also requires an active internet connection and a Microsoft account. Creating 'offline' user accounts is no longer possible officially, although there are several workarounds available.

Putting aside trivial visual redesign, the independent testing has shown that Windows 11 has significant usability and productivity issues, which are caused by more nonsensical and restrictive changes to the core user interfaces.

Windows 11 is priced around $199.99 and is available right now.

During the most recent 'Nintendo Direct' conference, PlatinumGames has showcased a brand new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Bayonetta 3. The game looks quite similar to its predecessors, although some aspects have been visibly toned down, in order to conform to the dystopian times we are living in. Originally announced back in 2017, Bayonetta 3 has faced multiple delays during its development and the situation was exacerbated further by the 'Covid-19' plandemic. The game is currently slated to release sometime in 2022, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

Aspyr Media is handling the remake which is reportedly being done "from the ground up". No release date has been provided.

On Sony's blog, the developer says that Knights of the Old Republic Remake will be a "console exclusive on PlayStation 5 at launch." Lucasfilm Games later confirmed that the game will come to PC.

During a post-show interview, Treadwell added that some members of the original KOTOR development team are working on the remake.

Expect this one to double down on the pozz which was present even in the original 2003 game, and to go far, far beyond that.

Zero sympathy for the woke niggers, faggots, trannies and whores of Activision-Blizzard or their kike leadership, but this once again shows that the zionist, neo-marxist, global shadow government will not shy away from eviscerating their own, until they are 120% in control. Wondering how many more sub-humans and feminists they will hire after the dust settles.
