Hear me out for a second, it's worth it.

A monarch butterfly will fly about 3000 miles in it's lifetime. During this period they will 'shed' their entire body by building a chrysalis around itself, where it undergoes natures most incredible transformation: A near complete chemical breakdown of their bodies. (Some brain cells, which control major muscle function seem to be the only thing to stay, but removal of these cells did not affect memory).

The 'memory' is where things get wild. Scientists place two nectars out for captive butterflys. They are color coded in colors the butterfly can recognize and one is bitter. Naturally, the butterflys try the bitter nectar only once and feed only from the sweet nectar afterwards.

Wildness: After their chemical transformation, the butterflys remember. (how?!)

Our science has no explanation for the butterfly. I've seen a butterfly tease a badger for solid minute, and fly with astonishing acrobatic grace.

It exhibits curiosity and definitely has memory, even after complete cellular conversion! From a creature with a brain the size of a pinhead.

Why is this a gift? Our consciousness is not here in our little grey matter brains. (If you wanted to be technical, Science hypothesizes that brains may be quantum antennas).

No one would even acknowledge the existence of non physical dimensions until fairly recently. And in front of our faces we have proof.

We're closer to God than most people think, and the example of the butterfly I hope, is a bolster to your faith.
