When I delivered for Dominos outside Houston in the 80’s, the shop sat at the crossroads of three economic zones, and our delivery area covered all three. My mother lives in a 399 square foot tiny home that I paid 60k for five years ago, which she can now sell for 90k. The rub is that in most states, anything under 400 square feet, they can’t tax you. So it’s hard to find a place to park them. You can own the land, but when the county finds out it’s too small to tax you, they fight back. I’ve spent more on lawyers than I did for her home.

I saw one motocross race. It was in the Astrodome in the late 70’s. A guy died. His family was sitting right behind us. I was done with motocross after that. Switched my interest to speed boat racing… first race, saw a guy die on Lake Palestine.
I’ve spent a fortune trying to arm my wife. It’s difficult because I’m a class three arms collector. It’s like being a Nobel prize winning mathematician, and having a kid that can’t handle the multiplication tables.
