If you have niggers, you need an HOA to keep them in control. I have lived in one for 15 years, it’s not bad if you keep your house up.
If you live under one, run for the board. If it’s not a retirement community they need people desperately in most cases.
You can avoid the gestapo tactics - when I first was on the board they were fining some poor lady $25 a day because her mailbox needed painting. It got up to $500 before I told them to hire someone, paint it, and bill her.

My next home won’t be in a neighborhood or an HOA.
