There are many cases of this. They prey on honest consumers who expect price is related to quality in SOME way.
Even old trustworthy brands have been bought out and hollowed out. Modern powertools are another example. Brands like Makita used to be made in Japan from quality parts. Now they come out of the same Chinese garbage factory as every other tool, and they slap the Makita label on them and ship them out.
You aren't wrong, but sometimes we have to put ourselves in uncomfortable situations to accomplish things. When I am forced to drive all day, and I am wearing contact lenses, I get a wicked headache without some sort of glare reducing sunglasses. Same goes for spending all day out in a boat fishing on a sunny day.
I think tools can be used appropriately and moderately, and they can also be used a crutch in an unhealthy way. Cars are also negative for a lot of people because they encourage laziness and slothfulness, but there are times when I absolutely need to use them.
Check out Luenx. It's the best off-brand I have found, with amazing polarization, mirrored finish, and 400uv rating, all for about $20 USD.
The only downside is that the mirrored finish scratches off pretty easily if you let them bang around in a bag without a case. But for $20, when I lose or wreck a pair, I just pull out another. It will take me 40 pairs to equal the cost of 1 pair of Oakleys/etc.
The expensive ones like Serengetti are very nice, but you can get very cheap ones with the exact same quality lenses. You're still paying mostly for the brand name.
They make all these lenses in China for pennies. It's just about finding the correct cheap ones (definitely not the gas station variety).
If you're interested in a deep dive on the topic, you need to start by reading about Luxottica. They are basically a cartel that controls 90% of brands in the industry and artificially keeps the prices very high across the board. From Oakley to RayBan, they own them all, and they are all made very cheaply in China and sold at outrageous markups worldwide.
You are conflating prescription (which is for correcting your eyesight) with polarized (which is for reducing/eliminating glare).
You can always buy non-prescription, polarized sunglasses. And they can also be cheap.
The only bonus of prescription sunglasses is that you don't need to wear contact lenses to use them.
A third option is sunglasses that actually go over top of your existing glasses. I keep a pair in the car, but they are bulky and uncomfortable if used for long periods.
Sounds like you're living your best life. You painted a vivid picture I didn't really want to imagine, but it's a funny story. I hope you build that sweet ferris wheel when you're done sorting. I used to have the little motor set that went with the k'nex, but no idea where it went.

Hey don't try and use my reply to you from yesterday, but flip it around.
Sal 100% only sucks circumsized nigger dicks (for free). Although for a few shekels he can be convinced to do literally anything.

No, but I heard that Virge sent his downloaded copy of the internet over to Prototype and they're working on it together.
I also heard Sal_180 will suck your dick for an EBT card, but only if you're circumsized.

You mean force the government to politely ask the King of England.
Canada isn't a real country. The only power the government has is to ask the King.

On the bright side I think Serengetti is one of the few brands NOT owned by Luxottica, and my understanding is that they are great quality.

You can't go wrong with slow-cooking a big chunk of meat.
With bone-in the high heat wouldn't be an issue, but without the bone you're probably right to go down to low temp earlier.
We better get a picture of the finished product because I'm starving now.

Just leave the city. Immediately back to pure White ethnostate. Neither jeet nor nigger or anything inbetween can handle being outside the city.
All the cities in the west look like Mumbai already. Let them and the roaches have them for now. Nuclear war can't come quickly enough.
