In April, 1975, as the US was pulling out of Vietnam, the government took the half-Vietnamese/half American GI babies from the orphanages in Saigon and flew them to the US. We knew that the GI babies would all get killed by the commies. I remember that happening.

There are documentaries and old news stories on YouTube about this. These stories carefully fail to mention why we took these particular orphans in a nation full of orphans, but I remember why: the kids were half White sons and daughters of Americans. In the YouTube videos, the people being interviewed all look like half White instead of full chink. Just thought to mention this. (Comments will be entertaining)

Ultimately, aging differently comes down to a mix of genetic luck and intentional self-care. By making healthy choices, anyone can tilt the odds toward a more youthful appearance, regardless of age.
