The funny part is that all taxpayers think they matter equally. They don't. Only full-time, private sector, taxpayers are contributing revenue. Everyone grant funded, NGO or government employed, are all paid by the private sector. Taxing them increases annual numbers, but not actual revenue as they still represent a net fiscal drain on the economy... Governments don't create growth, the citizen creates growth.
Taxpayers avert their eyes from the slaughter of women and children, but each and every one is guilty. Even financing the genocide of their own people doesn't cause them shame.
