The guy welding rod muncher just took a $200 micrometer and used it for a welding clamp. The EXTRA cranking sound at the end just pushes the video over the edge.

Except for the fact that the tool costs $200, I could see myself doing something like that. I do this kind of thing all the time, It's the inner MacGyver in me... "Improvise, Adapt, Overcome"

than cranking sound is a ratchet to prevent over tightening the Micrometer and give consistent pressure every time measuring something.

It's a .001 Micrometer and it's not even name brand. It's $150 also the cranking noise is from twisting the ratcheting thing to prevent it from over tightening anyway.
