It doesn't matter what you do, the gubmint has more resources than you. They are already flying them here. Next will be cruise ships.
This won't be solved only at the border. We also need to punish anyone who hires an illegal, anyone who helps an illegal, etc. but we need to do it nationwide and we need national policy to reflect an America first mentality. Anything else is just not enough and doomed to fail.

55 gallon napalm land mines, cluster munitions, white phosphorus, autonomous air and ground hunter/killer drones firing explosive and poison filled hollow-points, blinding lasers with facial recognition sensors, impaled bodies every 10 yards, electrified barriers running enough amperage to light any mammal up like a light bulb filament, etc.

Autonomous grenade-mines, with little feet, like wind-up toys, that sit quietly until someone wanders into their activation zone. Once activated the grenade starts running towards the target on it's little feet, all the while shouting:
"I am a thirty second bomb! I'm a thirty second bomb! Twenty-nine! Twenty-eight! Twenty-seven!..."
