It's real. When I was a child the pokemon ONYX was named ONYX. Now it's ONIX which looks wrong as hell. I specifically remember the Y because the name reminded me of my father's Onkyo stereo.

I have some form of hyperthymesia. I'm not drawing any conclusions or explanations, but I and many others remember certain things differently. Gaslighting is real and has been proven to exist. Alternate timelines or matrix simulations have not. But certain of these memories are beyond the scope of gaslighting.
