Brisket cooks fine in tallow or ghee in a frying pan.
Without a frying pan?
On a grill. 6 hrs at 150 but cut the fat the day before and store in fridge with a dry rub all night.
After 6 hours remove it and using a good slicing knife, cut into large 1” dia cubes into a large aluminum wrap, then return to grill (or smoker) at 200 for 2 more hours.
Havr squirt bottle and keep it wet every hour throughout entire process. Can be a vinegary spritz, or just beer, or just water.
Optional Carmelize/reduce w bbq sauce for extra hour
Some years back I found myself porking up and realized that I had been being too relaxed with what I ate. I started making changes in what I ate and, of course, immediately started loosing weight. Now when people see me they ALWAYS start in with, "are you alright?" "Do you have cancer or something?" So stupid and programmed.
Lol funny thing was is that's what I took out. No more sugary drinks, no more air fried mozzarella sticks and sugar laden sauce. No more microwaveable meals. Lean chicken, pork and beef with good vegetables like broccoli, peas and cauliflower.
Also stopped mixing my drinks, (that'd be a problem later) for clear spirits.
Plenty of butter, salts, fats and I shrunk from. 6'1" 220 to 185.
Same here - back around 2019 - changed my whole entire lifestyle and diet - from 104 kgs a diet of goyslop and SSRI's crap - consequently lost about 33 kgs from basically just diet and stretching, push ups and sit ups (and eventually quit the pharma)
Dr thought i might have had cancer and ordered a bunch of blood tests - even after telling him 'Nope, deliberate to lose weight and get healthy'.
PS - was still considered 'overweight' on that stupid BMI graph - according to calculations needed to lose another 7 kgs (already slim and felt weak and way too light) - yet on the Old navy measurement i was iirc about 18% body weight.
The BMI is total kike bs.
Began hitting the bench again and have put on about 12kg plus of raw grass-fed mass.
I consume lots of grass fed protein, and simple nutritious home cooked meals - zero goyslop, ultra-processed poison, sugar seed oil etc. Plus lots of chilled AV cider/ filtered Water and organic green tea.
I got that too when I switched to mainly protein and fat based diet. Lost weight quick. "Are you sick?" No. Not at all. I actually feel great. That "look" went away pretty fast.
