Ha! In the 90s, I called out sick. I went to a bar that night. Unexpectedly ran into a coworker who said, "Didn't you call in sick today?" ... "Um, er, yeah."

I've seen people get fired irl in part because they called off sick then posted pictures on social media of the beach/theme park or w/e. You'd think no one could be that stupid. You'd be wrong.
