True but missing the critical point of the slogan, which was to make its attackers look/sound crazy.

"It's amazing to be White" can be attacked too easily by calling it supremacy. Using "It's OK to be White" turns attackers into oppressors, putting them in the wrong by their own far left definitions.

This hits them with a dilemma, because they also can't NOT attack, otherwise their own side will call them complicit, no such thing as taking no stance in their logic.

Mostly they were compelled to attack it and look terrible doing so, which is important when the "white good" and "white bad" sides are 5% each, competing for support of the middle 90%.
