My tools do work, get dirty, and only lightly cleaned if needed.

If your tools are rusting then you are either leaving them in wet, and/or buying cheap Chinese shit from Harbor Freight.

The only thing that looked lightly used was the battery ratchet, it's great having all those tools, but you have to use them lol.

I have so many automotive tools, scan tools etc and not one of them looks unused, why is that?.

Just last week used the scan tool tablet to diagnose a checkengine, replaced faulty AF sensor, and then took it to the dealer and they gave me a new catalytic converter under emissions warranty. That cat is worth more than everything in the box multiple times over.

For myself, I only have one drawer I'd put a photo up on. OK, 2. 1st) my Knipex 1000 volts tools. Complete set. Yes, there is a Klien tools wire snipper with a .99 cent price tag in there, but the rest,: proud.

2nd) The tool box itself. Wife bought a used but otherwise huge stainless roller (over/under) set. Lordy, I fondle it and think kindly of her all the time. The rest of it is a semi-disorganized mess where I know exacly where each piece is. BTW, if you don't know what a Knipex "Pliers Wrench" is, go get a 5" or 6" one and you'll be shocked into happieness.
