That looks like ballistic rockets which would make sense if they came from Iran. The iron dome can't defend against long range rockets like that. Which is just fine with me.

Maybe they assessed where they were headed (minor) and didnt want to show their cards, to allow for an escalation.

If they blocked them, iran would only come back with bigger guns, getting jilted on their revenge on the international stage.

If they blocked them, they can't later retalliate, hence they need Irans attacks to land.

As far as I know ballistic missile warheads will glow on reentry due to friction. Not an expert, but in that case it would be the heat we're seeing and not actual thrust.
