the 2400 year old "Battersea" Celtic shield currently in the British Museum. It is a perfect example of Traditional Celtic designs with multiple interlocking spirals, three major sections, each intricately crafted within. It has 27 raised bronze compartments coated with red 'Cloisonne' enamel. The wood and bronze composition is too thin to have been used in combat and is believed to have been a votive offering. The spear is known as a "Celtic La Tenne" design of which 100s of various designs have been unearthed.
No. The celtic culture didnt exist until maybe 1200 BC. La Tene is dated to 400 BC. Britain did not have copper smelting until around 2400 BC which is about a thousand years after Egypt. The earliest copper smelting is probably from romania which is pre-indoeuropean early european farmer (specifically vinca) at 5000BC.
