But I will tell you, I was in LA for the riots when Marines deployed. Happenstance. Was catching sights, saw Phantom of the Opera, etc.

Either way, the cops told a marine, "cover me" before a group of cops moved in towards a box truck and to cops and marines this means different things.

The marines opened automatic suppressing fire, scaring the shit out of the cops. Good times.

Again, happenstance, later that year I was in Orlando for Hurricane Andrew. Disney world, Epcot, etc. Again. Marines. No suppressing fire I'm aware of that time.

I'm like the Forest Gump for Marine deployments on US Soil. I was also present with them in New Orelans for Katrina and their work with BORTAC.

But, nowadays, they have digital toys. Governor nuisance is losing his political action apparatus and what you are really looking at is a battle for who is the next president. This has little to do with deportations.

I know. I'm back in LA. Every political heavy hitter in every agency is trying to navigate this one.
