Watching the LA coverage reminded me of a story

1990s. I flew into Detroit one night about midnight.
My uncle picked me up and got on the freeway.

He immediately hit 100mph! I asked him "what's up with that?".

He laughed and said "the cops are on strike!".

I bet every scumbag in LA is out doing their thing during this bullshit.
