Yeah, the water quality is actually very distinguishable when you swim in hotels/homes/apartments vs when you go to an actual swim club pool.

When you say that I have no idea which would be better. They are all disgusting. I read water only gets changed 2x per year. Imagine swimming in 6 months of piss, only harsh chemicals keeping it at bay.

Swimmers don't piss in their own pool, only public swimming mouth breather do. This is why I always hated when PE did a swim class, I would hear the fat losers talking about how they threw up in the water before I had practice.

As for public pools, you would never get in one again if you knew what people do in them.

Public pools have "that smell" because of the reaction the chlorine has with urine.

I’m in the pool industry and while that may seem a disaster, there is an 8-10 ppm chlorine level in a public pool and everything will be fine. However, as someone in the pool industry, I would never go in a public pool. Public hot tubs are even worse.
