"Gifts" or not his basic premise is undoubtedly correct. There are some serious differences between how Christianity sees the world and how more traditional pagan systems did. This book is enlightening in that respect.

I've read both of them. His Ireland book falls in the line of pop-history that is popular with ethnonationalists.
