There's something I didn't know and perhaps most people don't know and including Elon musk.

Well you have to get a certain majority to get a bill through Congress you don't have to have as many people to get what's called a rescission done. What a recession is is to extract certain monies and expenditures from a bill that's already passed.

So apparently what I'm told that this bill does in a clever way that's probably too clever for optics is it puts all this money through but it actually makes it very easy for rescission to go in and surgically take out programs that are wasteful and otherwise nonsense that Dodge has already found.

They wouldn't be able to get the bill passed if they had to do that extraction in the major bill because that takes more votes.

That's my understanding and if it's true it's kind of clever but the problem is that optics are terrible and of course it may not even be true.

however you might have noticed that because of all the attention the bill is getting that the Republicans have gone ahead and put up one big recession Bill to begin the first extractions and it's 9.6 billion dollars in resisions which are extractions from the budget that would be passed.

I think they were going to wait to do that until I got past the Senate so that wasn't a lot of attention on this trickery but they're being forced to do it now because everybody's bitching about how terrible the big beautiful bill is.

So, are you happy that Musk is anti Trump or happy that Trump no longer sides with Musk?
