I stopped reading after the first 2 incorrect assertions, which were the first 2 assertions made by the unknown author.
He notified his super when the transponder was "lost", which was 7 minutes after lost radio contact. This is fine. No, ATC does not notify a super immediately upon lost communications. And, it makes sense that he would after lost communications followed by a lost transponder, which he did.
And 2nd, no, lost communications and transponder does NOT create an emergency aircraft situation. They, he and his supervisor, were monitoring the situation. That's all that's needed. Having a radio communications problem is not an immediate emergency situation.
It sounds to me like Zalewski wanted to get into the record and into the minds of others a narrative that Arabs were hijacking a plane and it was uncontrollable which would fit a narrative if someone was creating it that Arabs were responsible for the collapse of the world trade centers which resulted in The Patriot act.
This is very apparent since all the protocols that this otherwise experienced air traffic controller broke would have de-emphasized and limited the spread of knowledge of something like a hijacking as that had been judged for many years as the proper way to logically handle any such situation without causing panic whereas this air traffic controller on that day took actions seem to design to instill panic and awareness in as many people as possible which is what you would do if someone instructed you to play a role to build a narrative.
