When I was talking with some of the people there. They were mentioning that NYC has 'really gone down hill since covid'. You could really feel it was a different place. Energy is gone etc. Everything just feels like bummed, or fake, or if everyone was dead but still walking around some how.

You may have not liked it back then, but it was alive, real NYC and probably about a bit 100 times better than it is now.

Like I said in another thread.. I'm really tired of visiting NYC, paying more for food and getting less quality.

In manhattan normally no. NYC is large enough that you can have full blown white urban neighborhoods that'll never really cross darkies until you leave it for the mixed neighborhood outer neighborhoods.
