Check Intelligent Design theory. Quite interesting.

Reductive, ignorant and simplistic.

Do you know that there is a star identified older than the known universe?

We dont know, what we dont know. Assuming an entity older than time played Spore IRL with the galaxy is ridiculous.

Also if there is intelligent design, why did a deity create the abomination that is a giraffe? Why do cetaceans have two nasal cavities, but in the tooth whale variety, one is lensed over to form a single blow hole?

Less people believe in a divine creator, because we have more answers than we did 2000yrs ago, or even 200yrs ago.

Its not impressive to believe god made the sky blue when the sky only appears blue to us.

Ray Comfort is such a dick.

I don't want to be a big ol' curmudgeon here, but this does what's called 'begging the question.'

Instead of calling it the universe (or something similar), he calls it 'the creation.' This assumes what he is trying to prove. Both the concepts 'painting' and 'building' contain 'things that intentional agents do'. The concept of the universe does not. There is no intrinsic fact about the universe that entails the universe was created (it could be infinite in the past and future directions). You could have the intuition that the universe is created by something intelligent, but you can't get there by just declaring that the universe is 'created.' So, this argument will only convince somebody who shares your original intuition.

On the notion of creation: either the concept of God includes creating the universe, in which case, if the universe has a creator, then God exists (and Comfort begs the question). Or, you might think it is possible that the universe is created by something other than God, in which case Comfort's argument is no longer an argument for the existence of God.

Agreed, his argument is disingenuous and has nothing to do with whether or not God exists.

This proves how stupid you are, nothing else.
