Yea, im not sure of this guys gaslighting (hes an self acclaimed white hat hacker IT expert that was on a bunch of small podcasts basically ashuilling his own security software app).
Is he implying the location is from just the visual image or the IP and Exif - because otherwise just put a sheet on the window or wall or remove the exif
Plus he wants LE to be able to use this as an online crime tool.
So, limited to only rooms that have been previously posted online by real estate/ rental companies (and or images that still contain embedded location/ exif data)??.
I dont actually get the detail of how this is being done - What about same address but an image of a room not previously posted online ??. How does this work on all those copy cutter rental apartments that have all the same build specs and are in the same neighborhood ?.
His Total lack on how they are matching images to actual locations by a 'white hat hacker/ security consultant' is just stupid and comes across as a little normie fear pornish, unless im missing something. He could have just stated how its done and how to preempt it, but then again he's all for LE to use it as a tool to fight crime (no way will this be abused by LE and or anyone with bad intent).
Basically from what i've seen of this guy, i just dont like him - he seems a bit like a gatekeeping - im smarter than you bc i just dont tell the whole story.
