Jesus. That's insane. The ridiculous clips are...well, ridiculous still. But clips like the news anchor are frighteningly real. I didn't even get uncanny valley vibes from that one.
My big concern for the near-term will be the plausible deniability people have due to false positives.
Example: Hilary's laptop gets spilled and there's videos of Hilary eating kids. They'll just be able to deny it. Some political opponents (probably Russians) made a fake video with advanced AI. It doesn't even matter what the specifics are (hence the "plausible" part). They can claim Russia has secret AI capabilities. If things like Veo3 (or their slightly advanced future versions) are open to the public, then the story that Russians faked the video of Hilary eating kids will be hard to deny.
Yeah it's certainly would create plausible deniability in a lot of circumstances I agree.
Chain of custody of any video is going to have a lot of importance in the future for it to be used as evidence because any lawyer can get up and say I can create a 5 second video in one minute that will show exact opposite of what that video shows so how do we know that video is real. They're going to have to have very strong chain of custody evidence of the video coming out of the original camera when it was taken etc etc and how it was held and not altered
AI frequently bugs out and re-performs the same actions with the same effect despite it being impossible. Broken frames. Background and object of attention (typically a person talking) have noticeable mismatch and spatial distortion.
This is probably the closest to the best they'll ever be able to do. So, while I'm sure they'll implement their solution to their problem, it won't fool us. Likewise chain of video custody is already important as video can be modified by people.
Well I actually think just the opposite. For the first time the majority of people who are not the Jews that have controlled all the means of video production in the past are going to be able to create an overwhelming stockpile of entertainment and other things that do not push the race mixing or Jewish supremacy or white hate or anything like that. And I think just by sheer numbers the amount of entertainment out there produced by white European people that aren't Jews will completely overwhelm any of the race mixing white hate material that is produced in the future by jews.
I wonder how these can really be tweaked. I assume the same prompt would generate different videos each time. How would you just tweak one little aspect to fine-tune it to your vision? This seems like it's going to be hit-or-miss if you aren't just making random videos for getting likes.
