Double-Edged Razor Blades

submitted by GrayDragon to ConSoomProduct 5 hoursMay 22, 2025 10:41:22 ago (+13/-0)     (ConSoomProduct)

I used electric. I used those lame 7-blade stuff. I will tell you. Getting your grandfather's 1930s-type blade system is superior.

I would say on one year, it was the greatest product I purchased.

Uses any common double edge safety blade.

The trick is in the angle and amount of the blade exposed, and that it's held rigid and inflexible across it's entire width.

You might have to relearn how to shave, because it's dead simple and easy. Doesn't need any pressure.

Enter the code "SHOE" at checkout to get 100 free blades.

Question for multiblade razors:
"If the first blade pulls the hair while the second blade cuts it, why not just cut it with the first blade?"

Sounds to me as if it's just an excuse to dump dull blades on the market.

The same blade can't both pull and cut. The process you describe is based on the theory of cutting the hair below skin level with the pull-then-cut technique.

I'm a neck shaver, and clip the rest. My multi blades last 6 months to a year, and the current blade was installed in 2024. A little back-stropping on my skin as I shave in the shower seems to keep them sharp enough to do the needful. They probably don't do the pull/cut thing, but who cares.

Gross. A new double edge blade is 4 cents and you can use a new one every shave. I also strop my razor, but it's a straight razor...

I could use a new blade each shave, but I don't need to. Plus, I don't believe in the wastefulness of our jewish influenced society. Why throw away a blade that's working just fine?

Lol over $100 dollars for a simple safety razor. Bought this one from Walmart almost a decade ago and a pack of 10 extra blades is like $3.

I switched 5 years ago due to Gillette multi-blade prices getting out of control.

I went with the $40 stainless steel from - https://vikingsblade.com/

You need to start slow and relearn to actually be careful with this type of razor but it is 100% worth the time to do so. You get a MUCH better shave, and you can go much faster once you get used to this type.

Just get the razor and 1 box of blades to start, just in case it isn't for you.

Wet shaver, here. I tell people to grab an old Gem single edge if they're afraid of learning. Closed comb. Probably the safest thing to press against your face.

After that, any ~1960s adjustable fat boy or super slim with some chrome left on it will last the rest of your life. This has the potential to completely change someone's outlook on shaving his face.

I would say one of my greatest purchases, but I can't think of one I had to buy. I've been acquiring them from old dudes I know since the 90s.

Try to find a ceramic bladed razor for men. There's one for women on Amazon but it's for their legs and so the angle is wrong and it doesn't flex so you can't use it. But a ceramic blade never gets dull and is sharper than a metal blade.

I use my grandfathers Gillette Slim Adjustable from 1961 with Voskhod blades and Cryogen shaving soap from Chiseled Face. I havent bought a disposable for over 30 years, id rather not shave than use one of them again.

Ive bought quite a few new handles but nothing compares to the slim adjustable, not even close.

1950s Gillette with bakelite handle here

Merkur?

Old time safety razors are great.

I shave my balls with disposable razors. Just use a lot of soap. Lather up.

Yeah man, they are the best. I really like the Voskhod blades. But due to sanctions they are now >$40 for 100 instead of $10. I still have like 60 blades left. Probably going back to Astra once they're out.

I used to trim my beard once a week. Now it's once every month or two.

My customers don't pay me to be pretty.

I have an electric, for half awake shaving in the shower, works ok. I have my fathers sterling silver safety razor when I am awake and want a closer shave. I also have my grandfathers straight razor, that i had re conditioned, and that gives the best shave, but takes the longest. If I have the time and extra federal reserve notes, I'll have a professional shave with a hair trim.

Safety razors are what faggots use.

Get a straight razor and kill your self, faggot.

Shaving is for faggots. Grow your beard like a man or kys.

bitching about which razor you use is even more gay than shoving a safety razor up your ass

[ - ] GrayDragon [op] 0 points 2 hoursMay 22, 2025 13:54:41 ago (+0/-0)

I thought you were no longer sucking cock. Well, stay gay! Nonetheless, it matches your panties.

How do you know what his panties look like
