“The vast majority of times I viewed body camera footage is based on allegations from a defense attorney about what a cop did,” said David DeVillers, former U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Ohio. “And I would say 95% of the time it absolves the cop of wrongdoing.”

Therein lies the problem. Body cameras help the cops 95% of the time, whereas no body cameras work 100% of the time to avoid accountability. The 5% that show cops committing crimes is the issue.

Had that quote ready to paste. The problem is that there are hundreds of videos I've watched where the criminal thug(s) need to be found and killed, along with everyone in their entire department.

Here's a brand new one from this morning.

They'll often beat or kill their victim just for not instantently "OBEYING" them.

Probably a bad move on the part of the DEA.

With how many cameras are around now, if there ever is a "privately recorded" bust of some high power syndicate, the use of A.I to construct some wrongdoing by the feds could lead to lost cases.

Body cameras would corroborate zogbot stories - although without them it would be nice to see them get wrecked in court by private videos.
