That's a real question no one's answered for me yet. What happens when someone figures out how to make these things murder? They already have soldiers of course - not what I'm talking about. When someone develops a hack to have the robot wipe its memory after some time period, and the last command is "go kill my bitch ex wife." Robot hitmen will absolutely be a thing.

Or y'know, what if you tell the robot to slice up some watermelon, and it cuts the baby out of your wife and kills them both? Who do you charge with double homicide? Or is it just a nice bouquet of whoopsie daisies?

And probably just like cars and phones, if something goes wrong, it will take 3x the purchase price to fix it.

Then the whole "loss of data" when the update borks the entire thing and it has to be factory reset, destroying months of personalized learning.

This will replace HUGE swaths of human workers ( maybe 50% or more) within 2 years and it will start happening in a major way like 10%-20% within months.

Even a 10% loss of jobs will be one of the most dramatic changes to our economic and cultural and political system in history.

If we don't set up universal income systems very quickly we will have no means to do so because factory owners will not respond to public pressure from the workers they no longer need.

Income and wealth distribution formulas need to get figured out FAST.

and the old arguments of socialism and capitalism and simply not exist.

Either figure it out now or it's starvation and machine owner fuedalism starting this year.

One thing to protect your position is to buy stock in the makers and controllers.

Robot manufacturers need only metals and plastics and electricity.
