Regardless of this unfortunate cancer diagnosis, I can only pray that he stays on top of his health and lives his life to the fullest to the very last minute. I will honestly miss him when he passes.
I found his comics entertaining and his political satire consistently, brutally, on target. Despite his faults, and his failings, I've no doubt whatsoever that he will be remembered as as one of Americas greatest cartoonists.
He seems the stoic type, which I respect. I bet he keeps doing his podcasts until the day he's gone. He always makes a point on Sundays that he's doing his cast while others are sleeping in.
He fully endorsed it, basing his answer on 'the data' , mocked those that didnt, ythen got fcked up and had to retire and realized it was the vax, so over night changed his mind, yet still mocked anti vaxxers for only being right by mistake - bc he was right bc of understanding the data. Totally unlikable.
He was pretty much the only public figure to step back on his covid points. Wrote good books, comics, invented the dilburito a cheap meal that contain all vitamins/minerals/fibres of a good meal, plenty more.
After fully supporting the mandates and mocking anti-vaxxers , then claimed they weere only right because they got lucky - where he was right both times based on data - fck him - most people following his story already knew this (or had a suspicion) 2 years ago as he got totally fcked up from the vax, had to step back from writing or whatever and retire, and all the Drs gave him the 'its safe and effective you bigot , how dare you'. Self-conceited idiot.
Wasn't he mocking people who claimed to have evidence against them, rather than just a lack of data? There were three positions you could have: pro-vaxx, anti-vaxx, undecided.
