You might slight wops, say. But unlike a fair few white Americans in the South they're unlikely to be part black or injun. Imo you only really get anywhere with the idea some of these people were raped by the Moors - and the DNA evidence on that is weak. More suspect are the Portuguese. Lisbon was 10% black at one point. Those slaves didn't just vanish from thin air.

You more or less have to accept my European standard or you start getting into stupid debates about whether a guy whose grandparents were from Naples is white or whether someone like Paul Revere was white. Or whether it is miscegenation for a Spanish guy to bang a Dane. Or whether a half Portuguese dude is a half-breed. My Anglo aunt married a Portuguese dude, for example, and had a son. Is he mixed race? The problems this kinda stuff leads to are obvious.
