Cheap tasty pizza recommendation!

submitted by Anus_Expander to whatever 7 hoursMay 19, 2025 17:26:35 ago (+9/-0)     (whatever)

Yesterday at Walmart I bought their house brand pizza (Marketside) for the first time. Ultimate Meat Lover, I think. I figgered they must sell hundreds a day, how bad can it be? 5 bux! They are refrigerated, not frozen. Takes 15 minutes to bake.

Niggers, this shit is LEGIT! Very tasty. I am def gonna buy again. They have lots of diff flavors. Mines was loaded with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, and cheese.

I'll tell ya another kickass quick food. Even though its processed shit, the El Monterey breakfast taquitos are amazing. Just nuke 4-5 in the microwave for 1 1/2 minutes and voila!

Walmart breakfast pizza is the bomb diggity. Been getting it for years. Its great for when you're in a hurry. They use gravy as pizza sauce. Its decent.

Yeah those are good, especially when you start adding your own extra cheese or whatever on top of 'em.

I go to my local family owned pizza place. They make dough fresh. I get a couple dough balls and buy a pound or so of mozzarella cheese from gordons food service. And just through whatever you like in there. I made a nice pesto pizza and a reuben pizza.

Shop local
Shop mom 'n' pop
Always think about who's rent your paying when you spend your money.
Buy Walmart and you get a Walmart neighborhood

Funny thing is they have to compete with Walmarts prices but don't have the purchasing leverage Walmart has. So if they want to make it cheap they have to use even shittier ingredients than Walmart uses. Or be expensive.

Many years ago, when I was a wee lad, my grandpa on my mother's side would make us grandchildren chef boyardee "cheese" pizza. It was the most amazingly wonderful pizza ever. Back in the 70's chef boyardee tasted great. I'm not sure what pop did, but it was the best pizza ever. Probably just because I was a child and it was made by my grandpa.
Great memories. Thanks for reminding me of those wonderful times.

That ole box pizza was stupid but worked for munchies.
Had to mix and roll the dough and build from there with left overs from the fridge

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry 4 points 6 hoursMay 19, 2025 18:23:38 ago (+4/-0)

Do y'all have 5 Star pizza where you live? That's my go to pizza when I want to hate myself the following day.

[ - ] Bassman9000 0 points 6 hoursMay 19, 2025 18:33:10 ago (+0/-0)

Damn near $30 for a large, but it's worth it.

[ - ] 2plus2equals5 4 points 4 hoursMay 19, 2025 20:15:33 ago (+4/-0)

King Arthur 00 pizza flour = $.50
Marinara sauce = $.50
Cheese = $2
Sausage = $1
Other veggies = $1 total
Heat = $1 but a bonus in wintertime.

$6 makes you the best pie you ever had.

[ - ] Osmanthus 1 point 4 hoursMay 19, 2025 21:09:15 ago (+1/-0)

This is almost the best answer. You gotta make your own pizza sauce to be actually the best. Blows that the snot out out storebought sauce, which in comparison really does taste like it has snot it in (is it the BHT?).

[ - ] GrayDragon 0 points 3 hoursMay 19, 2025 21:52:14 ago (+0/-0)

An alternate option is to get a good pasta tomato sauce. While it is too watery (the cheese will slide off too easily), I found that putting just the dough and sauce in at 450 - 500 for eight minutes dries it out significantly, then add cheese and topping and bake for another seven to eight minutes.

You might want to find a different flour if you can: https://www.dailydot.com/debug/king-arthur-baking-dei-competition/

I used to buy it ...

[ - ] SilentByAssociation 0 points 4 hoursMay 19, 2025 20:42:00 ago (+0/-0)

Garlic butter crust or it's not worthwhile. Massive upgrade to an already great pizza.

[ - ] jfroybees 8 points 7 hoursMay 19, 2025 17:42:14 ago (+8/-0)

There are so many preservatives and chemicals in that legit tasty pizza. Added iron, phosphates, seed oils make for an unhappy body.

[ - ] Trope 1 point 5 hoursMay 19, 2025 19:28:10 ago (+1/-0)

Inorganic elemental iron, highly absorbable by the body, but unlike hemeoglobin-bound iron found in meat.

Donating blood or dumping blood is a great way to help ensure longevity. That and staying away from niggers.

[ - ] NeonGreen 2 points 5 hoursMay 19, 2025 19:42:34 ago (+2/-0)

Did you just promote bloodletting?

[ - ] Dafurius_Nigario 0 points 5 hoursMay 19, 2025 19:59:48 ago (+0/-0)

Yes.

It is actually scientifically proven that it is good to allow your body to create new blood. Part of the reason women dont suffer from many diseases men do, is because they bleed their whole lives.

There proven benefits to donating blood.

put water and yeast and flour in a bread maker and make it knead the dough

come back in 40 minutes you have risen dough

spread it around in a circle

put pizza sauce

put cheese

put meat

put into preheated oven

come back when done

Make this a "Family" event!

[ - ] Gowithit 1 point 7 hoursMay 19, 2025 17:35:49 ago (+1/-0)

You remember those? I miss those Walmart movie nights. Corny movies but they were fun!

[ - ] Dafurius_Nigario 0 points 5 hoursMay 19, 2025 20:01:21 ago (+0/-0)

dough is too elastic in one day.

Just make omelets instead.Far healthier and more nutricious and easier to make. You can still dump cheese on them.

[ - ] Darwintroll 0 points 11 minutesMay 20, 2025 01:03:22 ago (+0/-0)

Don't forget you need a pizza stone, preheated with the oven. Otherwise the underside center of your pizza gets soggy.

[ - ] Gowithit -1 points 7 hoursMay 19, 2025 17:35:19 ago (+0/-1)

Or

Buy extra Walmart pizza and slice in pieces and freeze individually.

[ - ] Gowithit 1 point 7 hoursMay 19, 2025 17:30:50 ago (+1/-0)

The dough is very dense.
