So many of the VPN's and VPN review sites have been taken over by Israeli Unit 8200 front companies that they are dangerous to use. Kape technologies was a big one until they became more publicly known. They supposedly were absorbed by another corporate name, which I don't remember right now. As you can easily imajine, it's probably just "another corporation" with a new name and essentially the same "honeypot" aims and operatives.

no vpn: hey lets feed the visitation logs of John Smith via his internet account that's tied to his social security and address, compare them to others, assign risks and probabilities to him, categorize him in a risk group, and use it against him in every way possible. here we see he says he doesn't like jews lets shut down his bank account. here we see he doesn't like niggers lets use that against him in a self defense case. here we see he doesn't like police lets redflag. here he admits to tax fraud lets IRS rape him.

vpn: hey so this guy John Smith just connected to our intelligence treaty partner now we can spy on him even more

spn: hey so some fucking asshole is posting from this ip, we tried to backtrace it but it just came back to another bullshit ip

Everyone probably has different reasons, but here are some of mine.

When the ISPs started watching for downloading, and would send threats, I decided to not risk it and just get the VPN.

Also, the stupid action of using IP address as a (((credential))) for emails really irks me, because I often connect to different networks, and each time I login the provider thinks I am being hacked and asks for some form of verification, and if I can't provide it immediately, the email account is locked. The VPN gives me the ability to keep a constant IP address so these retarded email providers don't kill my accounts and I am not bothered by having to 2FA for those faggots.

In general with all my internet history, I would rather have some random kike company going through it than my local ISP - just personal preference.

Also the ability to change regions for different content that can be blocked in my country is useful.

Yes, I am pretty retarded with the details of how network works, but that is what a VPN does for me.
