Its both deceitful and misleading to present information in such a fashion as if it has any meaning that can be derived.

Forget about the country names, associate them with their populations instead. China, Greece, Egypt, you get the point.

Populations had moved little during this era, you can make an exception for Spain and Turkey but i already mentioned them below in the comments.

Overall it's just a fun infographic, don't think too hard :p
