JD Vance had said that Christians should prioritize families over strangers. The new pope, before he was pope, disagreed trying to talk for Jesus. Any Christian that puts a stranger over their own family is not a Christian.

It seems that "pope" is more a political/power post than a religious one. I was very naive to believe popes were pious after reading some history of popes of way back when. Even though I am not Catholic I still hope to have a pious, religious pope.
