Mercedes reported a 43% drop in profit to €1.73 billion.
Volkswagen's net profit was 41% lower at €2.2 billion.
BMW's profit was 2.2 billion euros, down 26.4% from the same period last year. The automaker attributes this to a drop in demand for the German auto industry in China.
When first announced the cybertruck was going to sell for I think $40,000 and that's what most of the reservations were made at. And then it came out at 100,000. Now it's at 78,000. The real question is do they have the margin to reduce it down to $40,000. If they do they might sell a lot but they won't at 78,000.
