I do live in Southern California and I see motorcyclists driving dangerously all the time. Most often they're speeding and weaving through traffic. I'm okay with driving fast as long as one drives in a way where people can expect what you're going to do next and give them a chance to respond to it, but driving erratically and much faster than the general flow of traffic is just asking to be in an accident. This applies especially to motorcyclists.

If the general speed on a highway is between 60 and 70, that's what most drivers will expect. If I drive at 75, I keep that pace and rarely change lanes so everyone knows where I am and where they can expect me to be. Too many motorcyclists don't drive that way. You can't anticipate their actions because they drive much faster than the flow of traffic and change lanes quickly. Anyone who drive like that is an asshole, acting like they're the only person on the road and treating other drivers like an inconvenience.

The best advice I ever got on riding a motorcycle is to regard every other driver as though they were actively out to kill you. I'm sympathetic to motorcycle drivers who drive safely, and if the guy in that video were cut off or endangered, he'd have a right to be upset. But when he pull alongside the car to rant at him, he lost my sympathy. He didn't deserve to be run off the road, but he lost his self control and made himself a hazard to everyone else. The burden is always on the cyclist to protect his own safety.

They're always doing retarded shit like lane-splitting in full-speed traffic, speeding, weaving erratically, stunts, pulling out directly in front of people and expecting them to just see/hear them, etc.
