I have a bunch of domains grandfathered with yandex on the free plan
and after google shut down their free offering i moved to yandex for a few years
so I have some good experience with it. it was mostly fine, but then it started being slow to send emails and my mail client would just hang for a minute copying to sent folder, and also i had instances with networks rejecting my emails and things ending up in spam, and also it obfuscates the headers and rewrites sender ip as its own routing thing.
